Zōē was founded by a woman who spent years tracking her own cycle — its ups and downs — before she understood what she was actually reading and what the doctors were and were not telling her.

Most nutrition plans and coaching programmes are built around one thing: calories in, calories out. Train hard. Stay consistent. Trust the process. What they do not account for is you. Not the version of you that shows up on day twelve — sharp, strong, capable of anything. And not the version that shows up on day twenty-four — depleted, hungry, running on cortisol and willpower.

The majority of fitness and nutrition research was conducted on men. Men whose hormones reset every 24 hours. The plans that followed were built around that model, and handed to women as if the biology was the same. It is not.
